What is the support coordination price limit in 2026?
From 1 July 2026, the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 keeps support coordination price limits unchanged: $80.06 per hour for Level 1 support connection, $100.14 per hour for Level 2 coordination of supports and $190.54 per hour for Level 3 specialist support coordination. Higher limits apply in remote and very remote areas.

The three levels
Level 1, support connection, helps a participant understand their plan and connect with providers, usually over a short period. Level 2, coordination of supports, is the most common. The coordinator helps the participant build the skills to manage their own supports, coordinates providers and prepares for plan reviews. Level 3, specialist support coordination, is for participants with complex situations that need a specialist, often a qualified allied health professional or social worker, and is priced accordingly. Each level has its own support item in the schedule. The NDIA funds the level it considers reasonable and necessary in the plan, so coordinators must claim against the level actually funded.
Why the limits have not moved
The support coordination price limits have been frozen for several years. The NDIA's Annual Pricing Review for 2026-27 again left them unchanged while increasing support worker rates, so many support coordination providers say their margins are under pressure. The limits are national maximums, not set fees. A provider can charge less, and prices must be agreed in the service agreement. In MMM 6 remote areas the limit is 40 per cent higher and in MMM 7 very remote areas it is 50 per cent higher. Registered providers cannot charge above the limit or add gap fees on top of it.
What else can be claimed
Support coordination is one of the supports that can be claimed for time spent without the participant present, such as phone calls, emails and reports, provided the work relates directly to that participant and has been agreed. Provider travel can be claimed where the coordinator meets the participant face to face and the arrangement has been agreed in advance, subject to the general time caps. Short notice cancellations can be charged in line with the schedule rules and your service agreement. Support coordination is a capacity building support and cannot be used to deliver core supports or plan management.

Prices are set each financial year and can change during the year, so always check the current NDIS Pricing Schedule and the NDIS Support Catalogue before invoicing. Note that the NDIA renamed the pricing document in 2026-27; the 2025-26 version was the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Plan managers and the NDIA will reject claims above the limit.
